About RACEKIT

RACEKIT is a finder for the equipment professional triathletes race with. 49 pros are on file, each with one page listing their bike, wheels, wetsuit, helmet, race suit, run shoes and nutrition, plus their sponsors.

What's on the site

  • Athlete pages: each pro's race-day kit, item by item, with the date the page was last updated.
  • Most popular gear: which brands and models the pros on file race, counted category by category.
  • Gear and brands: every product and brand on file, with the pros who race it.
  • Resources for pros: podcasts, filmmakers and sponsorship programs, with how to reach each one.
  • Upgrade calculator: estimates what aero upgrades save at your own speed.

Where the kit data comes from

Pages start from public record: race broadcasts and race photos, bike counts, YouTube bike checks, podcasts, press interviews, sponsor announcements and Instagram posts. Wherever a source is on file, the item cites it in a numbered note at the foot of the page.

Pros change kit between seasons, and sometimes between races, so every page shows the date it was last updated.

Claimed and verified pages

Until an athlete claims their page it is unofficial: compiled by RACEKIT, not confirmed by them. To claim a page, an athlete or their manager signs in with their email address and sends a DM to @racekit.pro from the athlete's Instagram account. Every claim is checked by hand.

Once a claim is approved, the athlete can correct their kit and add their own links and photos, and the page is marked “Verified by athlete”. Some athletes have confirmed their kit with us over Instagram; the mark is kept for pages the athlete has claimed. Claim your page

Buy links

Kit items link to the brand's own product page where there is one. When an athlete adds their own link, often an affiliate link, it is labeled with their name and may earn the athlete a commission.RACEKITdoesn't earn from buy links, and there are no ads on the site.

Corrections

If something on a page is wrong or out of date, send a correction. A link or photo as the source gets it fixed faster. You can also suggest a pro who should be on file.
